#1. Blend
Every time Sanae attempted a new blend of coffee, Sho would spit it out, without fail.

#2. Stain
Sho wouldn’t bother to clean up a coffee cup stain, especially if he didn’t want the cup in the first place.

#3. Island
Sitting on his heap of trash, in a sea of buildings, nobodies and not worth talking about, Sho looked out in the distance to the future he wanted most of all.

#4. Apple
Any tree can drop an apple, sure, and Sho can drop the moon, but very little could drop on his head that would make him recognize exactly his feelings for the troublesome barista.

#5. Paper
On occasion, when he entered Wildkat, he would see Sanae sitting behind the counter, newspaper in front of him, and keeping up on the day’s news which seemed entirely pointless and he’d say as much.

#6. Relax
That was the thing, though, was that Sho had never actually been relaxed in his entire life; scheming and plotting took precedence and no one was more encouraging of that than Sanae.

#7. Leaves
Every time Sanae would give him next to nothing or answer no questions, Sho would be leaving out the door, every single time, because what was the point in staying around if he wasn’t going to get what he wanted?

#8. Proof
If Sanae had any proof of what he was doing, he wasn’t letting Sho see it yet, only leaving Sho angry at the end of the day.

#9. Ugly
The world was ugly, there was no denying that, and Sho, in all his infinite wisdom, would make it more beautiful than it had ever been.

#10. Book
The occasional times Sho came in, Sanae was deep in a book with no cover, leading to no answers coming from asking him what he was reading.

#11. Brood
Sanae had to get used to when Sho wasn’t getting his way, brooding and kicking things out of the way to get out of where ever was causing him the problems in the first place (and how to make sure they didn’t cause him any in the future).

#12. Mesh
Sho’s own desire for power, and Sanae’s secret plans meshed quite well together; they might have meshed better had Sho known was Sanae was truly planning but the man was mum about that.

#13. Soft
Sho couldn’t let himself go soft, not here, not now, not when he had work to do, but Sanae always wanted to try and prevent him from staying hard with his stupid grin and the way he talked.

#14. Shelf
Sanae pulled a canister off the shelf, something he said he hadn’t touched in years to make for Sho, for the sole sake of them spending more time talking about their plans to come.

#15. Alone
Not that Sanae would let him be alone in the first place, the man, the infuriating man, always found a way to bother him and get him when he least expected it.

#16. Fail
The thought of Sho failing at something was not a possibility, there was no potential for that; he would solve every equation without issue.

#17. Knot
“You’re quite the talented boy,” Sanae said, causing Sho’s stomach to turn into knots as his face turned red, trying not to act too pleased with the praise (and failing).

#18. Crowd
The crowd of Shibuya was one Sho always looked down upon from up on high, Hectopascals, he’d call them, nothing more than just digits in his equation, and nothing more useful than that.

#19. Denial
If anyone asked him, Sho would never admit to feeling anything more for Sanae than a desire for the power he had (and he found himself to be an excellent liar).

#20. Train
Somedays, all Sho could do was watch the train go by, eager to wait until he was contacted once again by Sanae to get an answer.

#21. Fur
When Sanae surprised him on occasion, appearing out of nowhere, Sho truly showed off the cat like nature, with his hair standing up like the fur of a surprised cat; the bastard liked to appear out of nowhere.

#22. Chrome
Shiny like chrome, or completely rusted over, if it was left behind, it was added to Sho’s sculptures, each one towering over everywhere, and leaving Sho to look down with a smirk at how high he had made it.

#23. Heart
His heart pounded whenever he got too close to Sanae, made even worse whenever Sanae said something nice to him, causing Sho to freeze in place.

#24. Intention
The road to hell was paved with good intentions, something Sho never felt he was getting from Sanae in the least, the man had a dark aura about him at times, but the only thing he could guarantee was the man knew more than he was currently sharing.

#25. Push
Every time he met Sanae, he pushed for answers, pushed for solutions to equations, with a drip feed of information back, only useful in riling up Sho even more.

#26. Look
Sanae always gave him a look when he entered Wildkat, and Sho couldn’t ever figure out what it meant, just that it annoyed him.

#27. Weight
If he and Sanae were in bed together, Sho could feel his weight press down on him, Sanae feeling heavier than he had ever imagined him to feel on top of him.

#28. Spider
There was the potential for Sho to be the spider’s prey in this, but the rewards were far too good to pass up, and power was something you just couldn’t ignore.

#29. Robe
Sho’s clothes were so dirty that Sanae wouldn’t allow him to wear them after he took a shower, leaving him stuck in a robe that was covered in paint, the only thing Sanae really had that Sho would wear.

#30. Umbrella
One night, leaving Wildkat, Sanae forced an umbrella in his hand to protect him from the rain, the one thing he never added to his heap.

#31. Surface
On the surface, Sanae appeared as a barista, teasing anyone who came in, but Sho was beginning to recognize him as something deeper, and Sanae was doing the exact same to Sho each time he came in.

#32. Idea
The whole thing was Sanae’s idea, as he was the one who appeared to know it all, and that bothered Sho, but only mildly since he needed the man to have any sense of power coming his way.

#33. Diamond
A diamond in the rough is what Sanae called him and with a little polish, Sho would be better than ever (and here Sho thought he was already pretty damn perfect).

#34. Blind
Sho’s first experience with taboo went as though he couldn’t see at all, having to be lead through it by both Sanae’s voice and hands, forcing him through the steps to begin to gain his power.

#35. Flow
Sho would come to the cafe, and although the coffee would flow so easily, Sho would never drink a single drop, hating how bitter and disgusting it was.

#36. Movement
Sho moved through the world, the streets, so smoothly and easily, as if already preparing for the day when this entire city would be his and his alone, all in due time of course.

#37. More
More, more, more, Sho wanted more power, more strength, more knowledge, and he’d not leave Sanae alone until he got every last drop out of him.

#38. Honey
Catch more flies with honey than with vinegar was never something Sho was all that good at, really he was more pure vinegar - and yet, he somehow got Sanae interested in him all the same.

#39. Weather
It wasn’t common for Sho to get caught in a snow storm, but seeing as he was right next to Wildkat, Sanae at least had a warm place to stay and a bed to stay cozy in.

#40. Blue
Waking up at Sanae’s place and forcing open the blinds to look at a blue sky, groaning because the morning sucked and he just wanted to get back to bed.

#41. Double
“Double or single?” Sanae asked Sho, the first time he poured him a shot to drink, and Sho was smart enough to say single, though he had no idea if that was actually what he ended up getting.

#42. Braid
Sho’s life weaved and pulled through Sanae’s at this point, the pair of them twisted around one another… probably by Sanae’s doing, another reason Sho should be suspicious of him.

#43. Thread
“Here,” Sanae said with a hum as he plucked a thread out of Sho’s coat that he could barely see, “Y’know, you should let me fix up your clothes a bit,” Said with a laugh that was almost charming, but would still keep Sho on the edge.

#44. Angles
Sanae would probably say something like look at all the different angles, he seemed like that sort of guy, and Sho would absolutely ignore that when there was only one angle worth looking at when it came to this.

#45. Daydream
The life of power was a constant reason to be distracted during the day, not enough to stop him from causing havoc or making sculptures, but rather enough to keep him focused and determined on getting to the next goal.

#46. Nightmare
The idea of the Taboo taking over his body woke Sho up in a cold sweat, the idea that he would lose himself entirely and be destroyed by it, even if it wasn’t enough to get him to stop trying to achieve it, it was something dug deep in the back of his mind to remind him.

#47. Honor
All Sho asked was for Sanae to honor his part of the bargain, he didn’t ask for more, and he didn’t know if he even wanted more, but more was what he was getting.

#48. Palm
Whenever Sanae pressed his hand between his legs, it made Sho shiver uncomfortably and close his eyes; these were feelings he had never prepared himself for.

#49. Screen
Sanae sending him a text to come over, Sho looked at the screen again and again, trying to decide if he was actually going to follow in agreement or just ignore it entirely.

#50. Warmth
Winding up against Sanae, skin against skin, warmed Sho’s body up like he had never felt before, no matter how much he didn’t want to admit how good it felt.
